‘Whether your relationship is strong, or you are struggling,’ is what our advertising will say when we go to the printer this week. The Marriage and Relationship Course we’re running with Northpoint is for any couple who wants to invest in their marriage in a comfortable, non-threatening way.
You don’t have to talk to anyone except your partner, while you eat dessert at a candlelit table for two and hear from some local Taradise folks for tips on the big issues in relationships. Stuff like:
- Building Strong Foundations
- The Art of Communication
- Resolving Conflict
- The Power of Forgiveness
- The Impact of Family – Past and Present
- Good Sex
- Love in Action
It runs for seven weeks, from 9 May, at the Spotswood Primary School Hall, and all are welcome. It’s not a preachy, churchy course, it’s down-to-earth and a safe environment for anyone you know to come along.
For the first time this year, we’re leaving the church building and hoping to serve people outside our churches, and we’ll need your help for that. A personal invitation is what encourages most course participants to come along, so please start thinking about who you could give a postcard to.
And please pray that God will prompt couples in Spotswood to take the plunge. This could be a very significant thing we offer our community.
